Why our kids are going to be healthier, happier, and more successful than we were

There’s a lot of doom and gloom talk about the future.

That’s BS. 💩

I work with kids and young adults every day who are shaping the future, and trust me, it looks pretty darn bright. ☀️

Here are four reasons why our kids are going to be healthier, happier, and more successful than we were:

1. They’ll be able to prioritize their mental health

We can thank Gen Z for rewriting the narrative around mental health. 🙏

This has resulted in an astounding culture-shift where prioritizing balance, resilience, and well-being is becoming the norm.

That rocks. 👊

By the time your kid enters the workforce, the age of demanding, careless, and toxic bosses will be extinct.

That type of workplace culture just simply won’t be tolerated anymore. And we’ll all be better-off as a result.

2. Their physical health will be revolutionized, too

Between personalized fitness, wearable tech, and a focus on preventative care, our kids are set to be the fittest and most health-aware generation yet.

Today’s toddlers are expected to live to 100, with high vitality. 🤯

👉 One thing to watch out for?

Sitting is the new smoking. With so much of our lives today taking place behind a screen, we need to make sure our families are staying active.

3. Entrepreneurship is at their fingertips

It’s abundantly easier to start a business today than it was 20 years ago.

Why?

👉 Digital products and services can be delivered with far more ease than physical products and services.

👉 The direct-to-consumer trend means that even with physical products, there’s no need to navigate the complicated and political world of retailers.

👉 Even with a traditional main street or brick & mortar business, there are infinite tools, platforms, and automations available to make starting and operating a business dramatically easier than ever before.

This means that entrepreneurship is within reach for… everyone.

4. They’re connected to the world

Borders? Merely lines on a map. 🌎

Thanks to social media, today’s kids are global citizens, learning from diverse cultures, collaborating across continents, and leveraging a worldwide web of perspectives.

This kind of diversity has been proven to drive innovation, and our kids are at the beating heart of it. ❤️

It’s natural to be concerned about the future, and the world that our kids are inheriting.

But it’s also a little too easy to get caught up in the apocalyptic hellscape predictions that get frivolously tossed around.

Turn off the news and spend some time with your kid.

That should give you a healthy dose of optimism about the future. ✌️
