NEWS YOU NEED TO KNOW

College is so stressful that kids are dropping out 😭

You’ve done everything right.

You’ve nurtured your kid’s curiosity.

You’ve helped them get into a good college.

And you’re doing everything you can to help them pay for it.

But they are still at risk of becoming one of the nearly 42 million Americans who have dropped out of college.

And while a new Gallup poll released this week revealed that “cost” is the leading reason college students drop out, “emotional stress” is in the top three.

That really pains me. 😥

We all know that tuition has skyrocketed, and more families than ever are struggling to figure out how to pay for college (with some even putting college fees on credit cards). 🤯

But stress is something that can be managed and dealt with in a healthy way.

It shouldn’t be a limiting factor in your kid’s college experience, and it especially shouldn’t be the reason they choose to drop out.

I’m going to dive into some research on the best ways to prepare your kid to manage the stress of stepping out of high school, and into college.

Stay tuned for helpful tactics in an upcoming issue! 🎉
